Our Method
Real measurements, appointments that hold, and crews who treat a Mar Vista bungalow like their own.
Straight answers for Westside homeowners, starting on the first call.
Westside AirCon Services was built around one principle: tell customers what they actually need. In Westside Los Angeles's mix of housing styles and climates, that means understanding each home before recommending any solution.
Before a single price gets quoted you hear where the system actually stands, which equipment suits the house in front of us, and what your board or property manager will want on the application. Nothing gets decided in the dark.
Our habits are old-fashioned. Size the work to how the house is really lived in, keep the driveway and the hallway clean, and say so plainly when a repair beats a replacement.

What We Hear Most
Tell me what is actually wrong, do the work without tearing up the house, and pick up when I call back.
Six services, one standard. Every install, repair, tune-up, and mini split job across the Westside gets held to it.
Over 30 Years Local
We've spent nearly three decades in Westside LA, we know which Santa Monica homes have zone cooling, which Mar Vista bungalows run on old ducting, and how to navigate HOA rules in Playa Vista condos.
Honest Estimates First
You get a written estimate before we pick up a tool. No surprise charges when the job is done, no upselling you into equipment you don't need.
Quality Workmanship
Every technician on our crew is insured and bonded, the same standard your equipment manufacturer requires. We fix it right the first time.
Same Neighborhoods, Same Crews
Our technicians live and work on the Westside. They park on your street, they know the marine layer means constant humidity calls, and they show up when they say they will.
Beach cottages, condo buildings, and hillside houses above Sunset. All of it, one crew.
Our trucks cover 4 cities and neighborhoods across the Culver City Corridor. Open the one you live in for notes on the housing stock, how the marine layer treats equipment there, and what a visit usually involves.
4 areas found
Culver City
Culver City and the Westside of Los Angeles
Culver City spans small Craftsman bungalows in Carlson Park, hillside houses on Culver Crest and heavily renovated homes along the Expo corridor, each with different equipment constraints. Bungalows with no duct space often take mini splits, while the hillside houses need condenser locations that account for slope access and noise to close neighbors.
Mar Vista
Mar Vista and the Westside of Los Angeles
Mar Vista's post war tract houses were built with shallow attics and one central return, so a change out here usually means enlarging that return and replacing flattened flex runs before the new equipment can move the air it is rated for. The remodelled bungalows on the same blocks tend to have a rear addition hung off the end of the original trunk, which is why those back rooms stay warm and why a dedicated ductless head often fixes the problem that extra tonnage will not.
Santa Monica
Santa Monica and the Westside of Los Angeles
Santa Monica's beach bungalows and Art Deco apartment buildings were built without ductwork or any mechanical space, so multi zone mini splits with a head in each room and the condenser on a roof or rear pad are the standard retrofit. Lots are tight and neighbors are close, so sound output and setback clearance around the outdoor unit usually decide placement well before line set length does.
Venice
Venice and the Los Angeles coastline
Venice bungalows and canal cottages front walk streets and alleys rather than driveways, so equipment is carried in by hand and the condenser lands on a roof, a rear platform or a narrow pad a few feet from the neighboring wall. Those older cottages have no duct chases anywhere in the structure, which points them at multi zone mini splits, while the three story rebuilds beside them need zoning because the top floor takes far more heat than the ground floor ever will.
Local Notes
A Westside job is planned around three things
Salt in the air, houses built before central air existed, and a building manager who wants the condenser somewhere specific. Those three decide most of what happens on a Westside install long before the equipment is ordered.
Boards and building managers
Condo and apartment buildings through Culver City and West LA want the outdoor unit approved before it goes up, usually with a note on where it sits and how it is screened. Filing that is part of the install, not an extra errand for you.
Salt air on the coils
Close to the water in Santa Monica and Venice, marine moisture eats at condenser fins and electrical connections years earlier than it would inland. That is why a yearly clean matters more here than the mileage on the unit does.
Two climates, four miles apart
A house near the sand and a house east of the 405 do not need the same system. Sizing that ignores which side of Lincoln you live on is the single most common reason a Westside AC never quite keeps up.
Cooling, heating, and the ductless work older Westside homes need.
